    Who
My name's Anita Wirawan and I love stories :).

I read/watch a lot of stories and like to share the most interesting and unusual ones here to see what everyone else thinks about them.

    Why
I had originally started this blog as a way to get things together after my brother Jody died back in 2008, but it's turned into a lot more than that.

I hope you'll find the stories that you need here.

    What Next
Feel free to look around the blog and add your own thoughts or stories, I'd love to hear 'em.

Only This Far

Do I owe you an email? I’ll be writing you soon. Do I owe you a letter? I’ll be sending it soon. Do I owe you a package? I’ll be shipping it soon. This summer has been busy and complicated, but happy.

In the meantime…have a video. This is one of my favorite songs of all time. It’s a lot of fun to play on guitar or just listen to if you need to relax and step away from things for a bit.

Song: #41
Album: Crash
Artist: Dave Matthews Band
How To Play: Guitar Tab, Video

Come and see
I swear by now I’m playing time
I against my troubles
Oh
Or I’m coming slow but speeding
Do you wish for a dance and while I’m
In the front
My play on time is won
Oh but the difficulty’s coming
Here

I will go in this way
Oh and I’ll find my own way out
I won’t tell you what to be
Oh no, but I’m coming to much more
Me

All at once the ghosts come back
Reeling in you now
Oh tell me what if they came down crushing
It used to be that you and me played
For all the loneliness
But nobody notices now
Oh begging slow I’m coming
Here
I’m only waiting
I wanted to stay
I wanted to play
I wanted to love you

I’m only this far
And only tomorrow leads the way

I’m coming waltzing back
And moving into your head
Please
I wouldnt pass this by
But I wouldn’t take any more than I need
What sort of man rolls by
Well I will bring you water
Why won’t you ever be glad
It melts into wonder
Well I came in praying for you
Why won’t you run
Into rain and play
Let the tears splash all over
You

The two best versions of this song that I’ve heard so far are…

the one from the Live At Radio City Music Hall album with Tim Reynolds

and the 32 minute marathon w/Bela Fleck and the Flecktones off of The Best of What’s Around Encore CD.
