Well after three days of miserable fever coughing tossing and turning in bed I think I’m finally starting to get over this flu. Or whatever it is. I’m just glad that its on the way out. I’ve now officially emerged from the bedroom to enjoy my new life…on the couch.
By the way, those commercials that show a relaxed person casually sipping a soothing steaming cup of Theraflu -lies all lies. If you’re going to take Theraflu get ready to wretch with tears in your eyes as you try to gulp that horrible demon brew as fast as possible. Just sayin, if you haven’t already experienced it it’s better to know in advance instead having your eyes pop out of your head like a cartoon character at the first sip.
The upside is that it actually does work well, at least in conjunction with Alka-Seltzer cold pills. These two medicines along with a lot of generous tlc from Jennifer are the only reasons I’m even able to drag myself out to the couch and type up this blog. But yeah I feel better :).
