    My name's Anita Wirawan and I love stories :).

    I read/watch a lot of stories and like to share the most interesting and unusual ones here to see what everyone else thinks about them.

    Why
    I had originally started this blog as a way to get things together after my brother Jody died back in 2008, but it's turned into a lot more than that.

A Simple Search

Saw this interesting but sad entry on Makes Me Think recently:

‘Today, after years of wondering, a simple Google search informed me that my biological parents died in an earthquake exactly 5 days after I was born.’

It’s amazing the level at which the internet is connecting everyone these days and it’s rate is only accelerating as technology continually leaprogs itself.

Not only is it connecting us through physical space but it does so through time as well. A simple search can act as a time machine and take you far back into the truth of your own story…
