    Who
My name's Anita Wirawan and I love stories :).

I read/watch a lot of stories and like to share the most interesting and unusual ones here to see what everyone else thinks about them.

    Why
I had originally started this blog as a way to get things together after my brother Jody died back in 2008, but it's turned into a lot more than that.

I hope you'll find the stories that you need here.

    What Next
Feel free to look around the blog and add your own thoughts or stories, I'd love to hear 'em.

Camping In A Fairy Tale

When I came across this picture it didn’t have any sort of context so I don’t know where it came from or if it’s set up as a kids playroom or their actual bedroom. All I do know is that that tent bed setup is really freaking awesome!

I like how the entire room works as a total immersion in some fairy tale woods, there’s lots of great attention to detail like the curtains being painted and the two working lanterns.

Looks like it would be a nice getaway …a cozy place to read books, play on the computer, or tell ghost stories at night. Makes me want to do that setup in the house sometime (except for painting the walls), would be lots of fun!

It reminds of that scene from Mermaids where Bob Hoskins turns the little girls room into an underwater scene complete with a turntable projecting light through cut outs. I always thought that was such a cool thing to do. BTW – My son and I set up something similar in our living room one day when he was sick so we could camp out with the toys and TV. I didn’t paint the walls (I rent), but we had fun with it anyway.

      Krudler,

Thanks for the comment. Sounds like a lot of fun, if I was your son I would pretend I was sick every day :D.

The whole setup looks wonderful. It’s a good idea and suits ideal for kids. My kid has a similar set up too.
