    Who
My name's Anita Wirawan and I love stories :).

I read/watch a lot of stories and like to share the most interesting and unusual ones here to see what everyone else thinks about them.

    Why
I had originally started this blog as a way to get things together after my brother Jody died back in 2008, but it's turned into a lot more than that.

I hope you'll find the stories that you need here.

    What Next
Feel free to look around the blog and add your own thoughts or stories, I'd love to hear 'em.

Insomnia Writing

“I put a piece of paper and a pencil under my pillow, and when I could not sleep, I wrote in the dark.”
-Henry David Thoreau

Well if you absolutely can’t sleep you might as well do something other than lay around in the dark being miserable right?

I don’t keep a pencil and paper under my pillow but I do have a cellphone on my nightstand which serves a similar role. I can click on my phone and write a blog, post on Twitter, respond to emails …whatever it takes to make something positive from the long drawn out hours of a sleepless night.

Anyone else reading this suffer from insomnia sometimes? What kind of stuff do you do to cope with it??

This Post read my mind!!!! I still can´t believe what a good time to post it! TheOther night I went to bed with a cup of tea and one Pill, woke up again like one hours and 45 min. I had some kind of dream, can´t say good one nor Bad one, but it upset me. I waited around 15 minutes later and yet couldn´t back to sleep. Lots in mind, problems, stress, lots of things,… But when i woke up I did it with this feeling of almost going to cry,so I took this paper and pen and started to write, wich I should have done since long before, cause it is not the first night sleepless.

I have saved maybe 5 or 10 things in a folder to post in blog, all coming from a dream. The worst part is they become in a unfinished project always for later :(

      Nairim,

That’s a tough situation to be in, to wake up like that with many problems weighing on your mind. I think it’s good that you decided to start writing though and maybe that will help in the long run.

Looking forward to reading some of those blog posts when you get the time to write them ;).

    One more thing to say!
I can´t wait to see new material on notebook!

      Nairim,

Thanks. I’ve been thinking a lot about Notebook these days actually. My plan when I started it was to post one short audio blog a day…then I realized how hard it was for me to even do two minutes :D.

My plan is to start working really hard at it and get as much practice as possible. Eventually I’ll get good enough that it won’t take so much effort or nervousness. So check back on Notebook at the beginning of next month because I’m going to be posting there a lot starting around that time.
