When Jennifer first turned on the show House Hunters I inwardly groaned. ‘A show about people methodically looking at empty houses, this should be…ugh.’
You gotta admit it does sound really boring.
So fast forward to several years later and I watch the show pretty much every day, how come? It’s the stories :D.
Even though it at first seems to have a dull premise there’s actually a great variety of stories told on the show thanks to the natural variables in people’s lives like personal challenges, budget, locations, etc.
Add in the drama from couples battling over wish list items and real estate agents delivering steady doses of reality (newsflash: you can’t get a million dollar house on a tight budget)…and you get some really interesting tv.
The only thing I don’t like about House Hunters is: where did Suzanne Whang go??
