Saw this strange sight on a recent trip to Fairbanks. Somebody bought an old plane, cut the wings off, and hauled it to their little plot of land.
They even got the plane staircase truck to go along with it. Looks like they’re using various things to block off the staircase to make it hard for trespassers to quickly use the stairs.
I’ve heard of some old planes being turned into restaurants but this wouldn’t be such a great location for a restaurant.
We all call it The Plane House, but nobody seems to be 100% sure what the owners are trying to make it into.
It’s a fairly residential area so everyone is assuming house but …do you have any other guesses?
