    Who
My name's Anita Wirawan and I love stories :).

I read/watch a lot of stories and like to share the most interesting and unusual ones here to see what everyone else thinks about them.

    Why
I had originally started this blog as a way to get things together after my brother Jody died back in 2008, but it's turned into a lot more than that.

I hope you'll find the stories that you need here.

    What Next
Feel free to look around the blog and add your own thoughts or stories, I'd love to hear 'em.

Death By Books

(via Visualizeus)

—–

‘How did he die officer?’

‘Well it looks like he was lying in bed sleeping when that big earthquake hit the other day and …about three hundred books fell on him at once.’

—–

That’s the scenario that popped into my head when I saw this picture yesterday. I think it’s great how the designer(s) were able to set up everything in this room to have a minimalist feel even though there’s a ton of books and dvd’s crammed into a really small space.

However, there are some inherent dangers that come with having such a large amount of books perched right above your head while you sleep.

It probably wouldn’t actually kill you (depends on how many hardback books you had) but it sure would hurt like hell if they all toppled on you at once because of an earthquake or something. Just think of the papercuts :p.

I would be so dead! I have killed most of my paper backs over the years so Ive replaced them when ever I could with hardbounds. Plus I kept the paperbacks, even the ones that are in three or four pieces.

Haha this is so true! Or what if you’re having a very good night’s dream and a book apparently not properly tucked fell on your face? What a bummer.

      Karoline,

Lol good point. Personally I’d be too paranoid to even get to sleep because I’d be thinking a book was going to fall on me at any moment.
