    Who
My name's Anita Wirawan and I love stories :).

I read/watch a lot of stories and like to share the most interesting and unusual ones here to see what everyone else thinks about them.

    Why
I had originally started this blog as a way to get things together after my brother Jody died back in 2008, but it's turned into a lot more than that.

I hope you'll find the stories that you need here.

    What Next
Feel free to look around the blog and add your own thoughts or stories, I'd love to hear 'em.

Sense And Sensibility …And Sea Monsters

Ever heard of book trailers before? I hadn’t until I came across one for the parody book Sense And Sensibility And Sea Monsters the other day. Basically book trailers are like movie trailers but for books (I know, huge surprise lol) and they’ve been around since 2002.

This book trailer is done very well in my opinion. It’s funny and sums up the idea of the book pretty well, though guessing by a lot of the reviews on Amazon the trailer is probably a lot better than be book actually is.

Another thing I liked about the trailer is that it did a great job of mimicking how people act in movies based on books like Sense and Sensibility, if you’ve ever seen one of those you’ll know what I mean. Anyway here’s the trailer, I bet you’ll get a kick out of it:

2:20 – not the first take. She’s already wet up to the waist. Guess they only had one costume and no time to let it dry. LOL!

From the continuity department at Anita’s blog…

    Book trailers, right? Who knew?

I saw my 1st one with Stephen King’s ‘The Dome’. It was brilliant.

Hi Jill, Yeah I was surprised as well but apparently I’m pretty late to the party on this one lol. The Dome huh? I gotta go check that one out, thanks :).
