“A cramped bookstore in Calcutta, India.” That’s the only information that came with this picture, which is maddening for me because I have a million questions about it.
Like how much business does a bookstore like this get? And are all those books arranged by topic or something or are they just put on the shelves in random order? What’s that man’s daily life like and where does he get all the books?
Is the bookstore only on those outside shelves or can you duck down and go through that small doorway and find more books inside?
I’d love to talk to that guy and get the whole story on all this, but I guess I’ll just have to settle for guessing about it lol. What do you think …does a picture like this make you want to find out more about it’s story or is it interesting enough on it’s own?
