Tell us something more about that Gigantic rake?? it must be unique or something that ppl don´t often do on their own yards. lol

It’s called a ‘roof rake’. This winter we’ve gotten an unusually large amount of snow here in Anchorage (yes, even a lot for Alaska) and the snow has piled up on the roof to the point that it’s causing a danger of the roof to collapse from all the weight of the snow.
Most people go and walk around on their roof and shovel off the snow…back breaking work and not to mention a pain in the ass. Jennifer got a roof rake and used that because it’s a lot easier and safer. You stand on the ground so there’s no danger of slipping and falling off the roof and of course pulling down snow is a lot easier that picking it up and throwing it with a shovel.
Roof rakes are sold here but they aren’t that commonly used so when Jennifer started using it people came out of their houses to talk to her about it or just stare from their own houses lol. Two kids even got out and sat on their own snowy roof to watch.

Ohhhh!!! yes, Now I see what you mean. How crazy it is imagination! I pictured the rake upside down, I mean Jenn doing the same but not from the ground but from the roof, I thought well she dosesn´t have to go and come arround that much on the roof because she has the rake but still it´s dangerous to get up there! Lol ( I´m feeling pretty much silly now lol)

Well part of the fun of hint memoirs is that it makes others imagine a normal situation in a strange way ;). But in this case the situation was already strange to begin with as evidenced by all the people coming out to stare lol.
